Qing Ming 2026

Qing Ming: Returning to Where Love Began

Qing Ming falls on April 5th this year, while Chun-She is on March 25th.

Some families have already begun preparing for tomb-sweeping and ancestor worship. Especially for new interments (less than 1 year), it is considered an ideal time for families to visit the grave and pay homage from March 14th to 24th.

Qing Ming Prayer Schedule

Since Qing Ming is not a public holiday in Malaysia, we recommend avoiding peak periods or visiting outside the 10 days before and after Qing Ming for a smoother experience.

Important Notice: Hari Raya falls from March 21st to 22nd, and major highways are expected to be congested during the weekends surrounding these dates. We encourage early planning to ensure a smooth journey.

With the recent hot and rainy weather, please remember to bring an umbrella and hat, stay hydrated, and wash hands frequently.

Visiting Hours During Qing Ming Peak Period

To facilitate families visiting during the Qing Ming period, the park will open earlier at 6:00 AM on the following six peak days, while closing time remains 5:00 PM :-

  1. March 28th (Saturday)
  2. March 29th (Sunday)
  3. April 4th (Saturday)
  4. April 5th (Sunday) – Qing Ming Festival
  5. April 11th (Saturday)
  6. April 12th (Sunday)

Except for the dates listed above, the park will maintain its regular visiting hours of 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Kindly take note of the opening hours to avoid arriving too early.

Xiao En Memorial Park is open all year round! Families who wish to pay their respects earlier are welcome to visit. Thoughtful planning for Qing Ming allows for a calm and meaningful experience, reminding us that our bond with our loved ones transcends life and death.
