Heartfelt Thanks to Dedicated Teachers, ‘Our Hearts Are Full, Let’s Live Brilliantly’

We sincerely admire the teachers’ dedication to life education, as we deeply understand the importance of nurturing a love for life among today’s high school students. Even though it required a long journey and personal expenses, the teachers made sure the students could experience the warmth of life education in the city.

Traveling from Kedah to Kuala Lumpur and back in a day, they spent two-thirds of the time on the road. The remaining precious third of the time was spent learning knowledge beyond the textbooks. They took a journey through the frontline of life, walking the path of “embracing life through the awareness of death.” From contemplating death to cherishing the value of living, these students are from the Jes Learning Centre in Kedah.

“In fact, we were not going to observe death, but to understand life.”
“Life, with its stages of birth, aging, sickness, and death, is not easy. The fact that we are ‘alive’ makes it even more important to cherish.”
“We must cherish the time we have.”
“I want to spend more time with my family and treasure every day.”
“After someone passes away, the living family members also need to be cared for.”
“From what I learned about funerals, I feel that those Life Practitioners are very brave.”
“The contributions of Silent Mentors (body donors) are deeply impactful, and I want to learn more.”
“Neither my family nor school has ever discussed these topics with me; it has really opened my eyes.”
“Living without cherishing life seems scarier than death itself.”
“Thank you, teacher, for always having such a positive attitude towards education.”
“As the teacher said, our hearts are full, and we must live a brilliant life.”

Finally, as the teacher concluded for the students:-
“We are merely playing the role of sowing seeds. These seeds planted in the hearts of students require their own reflection and understanding to be properly nurtured. When the time is right, these seeds will gradually sprout. Whether they grow into seedlings or mature into trees, it will all be worth it for us as teachers or the Xiao En team.”

Seeds need time to be nurtured, and isn’t life education the same?
