Hua Xia Private School’s Outdoor Learning on Life Education

Early in the new year, Xiao En organized the first outdoor learning session on life education. Hua Xia Private School organized a life education guided tour, where students walked into the funeral parlor and toured the clinical care facility. Afterwards, the students gathered together to discuss and exchange ideas about the topic of “Life and Death”.

I still remember when the Hua Xia’s Director of Counseling participated in the discussion, saying, “When a student feels that life has no joy or meaning beyond academic achievements, their shoulders may become burdened, and thoughts of suicide may arise.”

This statement carries great weight and profound meaning.

We are grateful that Hua Xia Private School recognizes the importance of life education. Understanding life education goes beyond discussing and explaining the phenomenon of death; it emphasizes the importance of cherishing life and being present in the moment.

To live prepared for death is to empower one’s life.
