To celebrate life is to hold it with both serenity and reverence.
Organized by the Malaysia Association of Paediatric Palliative Care, the Life Celebration Festival opened its doors to both local communities and symposium participants from around the world. It became one of the symposium’s most engaging highlights — where professionals, families, and members of the public gathered to reflect on life from different cultural, professional, and personal perspectives.
As one of the key-supporting partners, Xiao En contributed meaningfully to the three-day Life Celebration Festival. Through four distinctive sharing sessions — including picture book sharing, workshop on “ The journey within the coffin lying experience”, sharing session by Life Practitioners on “ The journey of compassion and self-discovery” …
These sessions created a space where people from different cultural and social backgrounds could come together, discovering not only multiple perspectives on life and death but also a deeper mutual understanding.
The Life Celebration Festival reminded us that learning is never-ending. By listening to one another’s stories and experiences, we discover not only new perspectives, but also the resilience and strength that allow us to face life — and death — with courage and grace.
