Beyond the Life Education Exhibition: Entering Real Spaces for Honest Dialogue About Life

Beyond the Life Education Exhibition: Entering Real Spaces for Honest Dialogue About Life

A sincerity that stands the test of time is not only visible, but deeply moving.
The counselling team of Muar Chung Hwa Secondary School has committed to a long-term, structured approach to life education, enabling students to explore its depth and breadth, and to discover more possibilities in cherishing life.

Most of the students and teachers on this visit had previously experienced the school’s 「启 • 圆」Life Education Exhibition and attended several sessions by the Life Practitioners. What began as listening to stories has now evolved into stepping into real settings and engaging directly with practitioners, making their learning more tangible and profound. We are especially grateful for the student who, despite an injured foot, insisted on participating—an admirable spirit of commitment to learning.

In Xiao En Memorial Park, students experienced the continuity of life through the practice of honoring those who came before us—such as their stop at the tomb of the late educator Bock Tai Hee, paying tribute to his enduring legacy. In Xiao En Centre, they learned about the Five Station of Life’s Epilogue, gaining insight into the flow and healing of grief. The visit also offered a moment to slow down and reflect on the future of life itself.

Results are never formed overnight, but the dedication teachers pour into life education—their long-term cultivation and care—will one day be remembered and appreciated, becoming a lasting nourishment in the lives they touch.
