After being inspired by the 生命教育展《懿》「One Life」Exhibition, students may have the opportunity to engage in various activities such as curation, lecture sharing, and picture book reading. Furthermore, they can participate in outdoor learning experiences by visiting spaces dedicated to celebrating the completeness of life. This allows them, at their young age, to develop a keen awareness and perception of the essence of life.
“It is a blessing for those who can experience the full cycle of life – birth, aging, illness and death. Some people are unable to complete this journey.”
“I greatly admire the selfless contributions of the silent mentors, whose spirit lives on eternally.”
“Departure does not mean disappearance, as the memories we share continue to connect us.”
“In this space, I sense not just the end of life, but the flowing and motion of life itself.”
“I never realised that cemeteries could hold such deep societal significance.”
“I’m surprised to see the diverse methods of burial, with the impression of natural burials being particularly striking.”
“Life and death are not necessarily opposites, but rather a transition and connection.”
“Grief may not disappear completely, but we can learn to coexist with it.”
“The life practitioners are simply caring for those who cannot care for themselves – there is no need to fear them.”
“It is only by approaching life with reverence and respect that we can truly cherish it.”
“After going through this experience, I now truly understand what it means to live while facing death.”
Life education is like a marathon; learning doesn’t stop with the end of a single event. The hope is that students can maintain the enthusiasm and awareness they have developed towards life, and use that to positively influence the lives of others.
