<Memoir of Time> Event
Different Perspectives Towards Qing Ming
Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, 1 April 2017 – Xiao En Group organized a special sharing session entitled <Memoir of Time>, to share different perspectives towards this traditional Chinese festival.
Qing Ming Festival (Chinese Tomb Sweeping Day) is a season where we pay respect and express our filial piety to our departed loved ones. This is also a festival where family members from different generations gather together.
In conjunction with Xiao En Group 30 years anniversary (1987-2017) and its new core value <HOPE> and <LOVE>, we play as a role of the educator to share a different perception of Qing Ming Festival, so that this traditional festival shall be continued through family culture and strengthen the family bonding.
In this special Qing Ming event, Xiao En Group is honoured to invite Mr Fong Yee Leong (local author & social worker) and Professor Jerry Hsia (Famous creative director from Taiwan) to share their knowledge and thoughts on Qing Ming Festival and family culture related topics. Winnie Goh (Winner of ASTRO Classic Golden Memory 2015) joined this memorable event by performing her classic songs on stage.
Besides that, there are few others interesting social programs being held:
- Social Message Moments – Invited guests download some lovely social messages from Xiao En Group Facebook Page, and together they shared and forward to our loved ones at 9:09am in the event.
- Plant Seeding – The participants plant the sunflower seeds in a paper pot together, and Xiao En Group will show you the sunflower growing process at Facebook Page. Sunflower symbolizes Xiao En Group’s core value, which is Hope and Love, a cheerful and bright flower that always give.
