29 June 2017 – It is a great cross-cultural and knowledge sharing between Asian countries, as the Taiwan famous pottery artists, Mr Li Guoqin, accompanied by Xiao En Group Consultant Professor Jerry Hsia, exchanging art knowledge and cultural topics with Xiao En Board of Directors: Chairman Datin Choo Lein Sei Keng, and Managing Director, Dato Frank Choo Chuo Siong.
Through the meeting session, both parties discussed on the appreciation of ceramic art and human life philosophy.
Mr Li Guoqin’s pottery masterpiece has been well known as a diplomatic gift, where former Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou, has been an enthusiast of Li Guo Qin pottery. Former President Ma has even selected his handmade porcelain “Taiwan Magpie” as a diplomatic gift to China’s President Xi Jinping. Mr Li Guoqin spent two months by conducting in-depth research to create that masterpiece.
His fine quality has raised many people eyebrows when knowing the pottery is made of ceramic as it is difficult to distinguish the authenticity of his works.
Mr Li Guoqin praised Xiao En on its strong belief in filial piety philosophy and he is optimistic that Xiao En will be the top leader in life care service provider. He is looking forward to have collaboration of having pottery art as great statement piece in the human life cycle (bereavement industry).
Both parties are in discussion in exploring the possibility to display his work of art at Xiao En, as Xiao En have been a strong supporter of art and cultural projects.
Mr Jiang Qingzhong, a General Manager of Taiwan’s well-known chain service industry, joined in the conversation along with the collective representatives by sharing connotation and his working experience in the top-level service industry.
